Vivacious Sunday Champagne Brunch at Oyster & Wine Bar at the Sheraton Hong Kong: The Only Brunc

With summer in full swing, there's nothing I crave more than cold, succulent oysters shucked fresh out of their shells. To be fair, everything and anything cold -- but top-quality oysters imported from some of the best oyster regions in the world are obviously a huge plus! This was my first time at Sheraton Hong Kong's Oyster & Wine Bar, a spacious restaurant hidden behind the lounge on the 18th floor accessed via bullet lift. And the brunch is something you've GOT to check out, especially since they've just introduced a new champagne brunch with free-flowing Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs (the only one in town). With unlimited international oysters hand-picked for quality each time, as well as a buffet of appetisers, a main course and dessert station, this is a seriously indulgent brunch that I can't wait to try again.

Read on for my experience +pricing - note that what we enjoyed was the Platinum Champagne Brunch!

Oysters are shucked right where you can see them, ensuring freshness.

The varying creaminess and brininess levels of the oysters from 3 different regions (USA, France, Ireland) paired perfectly with all the Perrier-Jouët champagnes, including Brut, Rosé and Blanc de Blancs.

The buffet counter has infinite fresh seafood options other than oysters, including delicious melting sashimi of all varieties, cold cuts, cheese, salads, and a seriously delicious Lobster Bisque at the carving station (next to the tomahawk). So many choices!

The Scottish cured salmon options, with one marinated in beetroot. Kept coming back here for more!

Assorted sashimi from the appetiser counter. Note - you also get a hot appetiser served straight to your table, chosen from the menu.

I kept forgetting we also had a main course option! I went for the fillet steak, which was seared to medium rare perfection. Loved the juicy vine tomato too.

One big happy family of oysters + a few different main options (lamb, lobster, steak).

Always down for dessert, and the dessert corner did not disappoint either. As with all the other courses, guests have the option of ordering off the menu, and so we also got a taste of the soufflé, which was beautifully fluffy and light. A must-try!
